GASKETED HEAT EXCHANGERS

Describe

The frame type plate heat exchanger is composed of a set of corrugated metal plates, which are made of stainless steel or titanium plates and other special materials. The plates are mounted with rubber pads and supported by the front and rear frames, pull bolts and other accessories. Through high and low temperature conversion and by two or more kinds of medium, the plates to achieve heat transfer, and sterilization effect. Our products are commonly used in shipping, chemical industry, petroleum, food, medicine, central heating and other fields. MC has been constantly exploring and developing breakthroughs in new fields. At present, it has made some progress in waste water recycling.

Precautions for plate heat exchanger installation:

Heat exchangers should not be deformed, fasteners should not be loosed or other mechanical damaged.

When the equipment is hoisted, the hoisting rope shall not be hung on the pipe or the positioning beam or the plate.

There is enough space around the heat exchanger for facilitating maintenance.

The inlet and outlet of hot and cold media shall be connected in the direction specified on the factory nameplate.

The pipe connecting the heat exchanger should be cleaned to prevent sundries such as sand and gravel welding slag from entering the heat exchanger and causing blockage.

Common faults of plate heat exchanger:

Once the equipment fails after long-term operation, the reasons are as follows:

Pressure drop increases gradually: the reason is that the medium is unclean or too many particles and sundries, so that the plate scale or is flow blocked.

Medium mixing: Performance :The the first and second side pressures increase or decrease synchronously. The reason is that the plates have been corroded and perforated.

The main causes of plate replacement leakage are:

(1) Corrosion penetration of heat exchange plate;

(2) The heat exchange plate is cracked;

(3) Uneven fastening of clamping bolts;

(4) The heat exchange plate is too deformed;

(5) Sealing gasket is broken or aging;

(6) Uneven thickness of gasket;

(7) Pressure deviation of seal gasket.
