Brazed plate heat exchanger is a kind of heat exchanger with high efficiency, small volume and wide application. Different from the frame type plate heat exchanger, brazed heat exchanger do not use the rubber pad and frame, but uses copper dissolved in high temperature as the medium to connect the plates together to achieve the effect of heat transfer. Brazed heat exchanger is more concentrated, compact, and with small area and light weight, which makes it more and more popular in many fields.
Brazed plate heat exchanger is an evolution of detachable heat exchanger, in which the sealing material changes from rubber pad to copper and all the plates are held together by copper solder. Just as all contact points of detachable heat exchanger plates must be closely jointed, all contact points of brazed heat exchanger must be completely welded together to ensure heat transfer efficiency and compression resistance, and also to obtain a long service life.
